RAILHUB LOGISTIK SRL is a company that promotes a new concept on the Romanian logistics warehouse market that focuses on rail transport, in the context of the increasingly intense advancement of "green" transport, but also of the volumes of goods that can be transported by rail, clearly superior to those by cars.
Our concept also takes into account the transport policy strategy at European Union level which aims to reduce CO2 emissions from transport by up to 60% by 2050, compared to 1990 levels. The proposed solution is to transfer 30% of road freight transport over distances of more than 300 km to other means of transport that generate lower CO2 emissions, including the passage of containers and other intermodal road, from freight to rail and inland waterway transport units.
Romania must align with the EU's sustainable transport policy, and promoting intermodal transport is one of the key solutions. RAILHUB LOGISTIK considers intermodal transport to be an opportunity and is certainly part of the transport of the future.
Thus, our company owns and can operate and / or rent the logistics warehouse with a generous area of 34,117 sq m, located on E 574 CRAIOVA-PITEȘTI, at a distance of 10 km from Craiova city center, 3 km to Craiova Airport and 15 km to the Ford Romania SA car factory.
The warehouse has all the utilities necessary for the development of a logistics or production activity - own railway with a length of 664 ml, own connection to natural gas, water connection, sewerage, connection to the electricity network through its own transformer with a power of 250 Kva, office buildings with a cumulative area of 713 sqm, metal constructions for storage in a cumulative area of 2654 sqm.
The warehouse is also equipped with an electronic car scale of 50 tons, two portal cranes, one with a lifting capacity of 32 tons and the other with a lifting capacity of 7 tons, cement silos with a storage capacity of 640 tons, station compressors etc.
The warehouse can be rented / operated in the current configuration or can be modified according to the requirements of the beneficiary.
